Mermaid Parade

 

 Have you ever been to the Mermaid Parade in Coney Island? I went once when I lived in New York City and had a blast! It looks like it was amazing this year as well. I found all these incredible photos posted on the Village Voice HERE.

The Cup & Cork on St Thomas

 Have you been to The Cup & Cork on St Thomas yet? I've been a handful of times and just love this little hidden gem on the North Side of the island. The Cup & Cork is a gourmet coffee shop that sells, yummy morning treats, over-stuffed deli sandwiches, a great selection of wine, and more. They're located at Megan's Point Resort which is just perfect for a fun day at the beach. The next time I'm planning to spend the day at Megan's Beach guess where I'm getting my picnic lunch from?

Weekend Boat Trip to the BVI

We went to the BVI this weekend on John's boat (St Thomas Boat Rental) and had a blast. We checked into the BVI on Tortola and picked up lunch, stopped at Sandy Spit for a swim and a romantic walk on the beach, then hopped over to Jost Van Dyke for a drink at the Soggy Dollar, and finished up with a snorkel on our way back to St Thomas. It was a wonderful day!!!

Ohhh Monday why are you not as fun as Sunday?!!!

Did your weekend go as fast as mine? I'm ready to repeat Sunday all over again today :) John took us out on his boat to the BVI on Sunday and we all had a blast (more photos to come later) I just had to share this one cause it put's a smile on my face!

I'm so excited that the weekend is here!!! What do you have planned for the weekend? I'm looking forward to working on Saturday photographing a wedding at Gallows Resort and taking sunday off to go on a boat trip to the BVI on this boat.

Morning Motivation

I can't think of anything worse then waking up early on a Monday morning for work and realizing you're out of coffee, this was me yesterday. I was standing on the beach in the photo above wondering how other people get through a day without a cup of coffee? Do you drink coffee? What's your get up and go motivation in the morning? I'm a coffee drinker and anyone that knows me knows there's no point in trying to have a conversation until I've finished a cup. I'm grateful it's Tuesday today :)
