How do you relieve stress? The one thing that I love more then anything is a relaxing massage next to the ocean. The best birthday gift I've ever had was from my favorite masseuse Rashel Trombero at Lindquist Beach on St Thomas, it was out of this world! Rashel offers an amazing rate for at home massages, so you won't even have to get in your car after your relaxed, give her a call today at 340-998-8947. You will love it!!!

The last time I had a massage by Rashel was at a friends house that had all these dogs that just loved the way her massage oil tasted, it was just the sweetest!!!

Living on a little tropical island means that I spend a lot of time barefoot. So, when I heard about Shellac Nail Polish that lasts longer then normal polish and never chips, I had to try it. I went to see my friend Rashel that owns The Body Garden Day Spa & Salon in Tillett Gardens on St Thomas and so far I'm a big fan of Shellac Nail Polish. Have you tried it and what you think?

PS If you're on island call the Body Garden for a fabulous pedicure at 340-774-BODY.

Lately I’ve been obsessed with this amazing mud mask that our guide introduced us to on our hike to the Boiling Lake on Dominica. The mud is from the Valley of Desolation, right out of the ground, (I should say right out of the extremely hot as in boiling ground) full of minerals that make my face feel amazing. I was lucky enough to sneak a little home with me. Do you have a mud mask that you love?

To pluck or not to pluck you eyebrows?
For the longest time I didn't even think I had eyebrows until my mother pointed out the fact that my eyebrows needed to be groomed (the photo above shows them un-groomed.) My mom brought me to a lady that waxed my brows and made them cute and little, so I attempted to keep them up later by plucking. My mom's mom has drawn her eyebrows in since I've known her.... I keep meaning to ask her if she was once a plucker.
What do you do with your eyebrows?

Do you ever get the urge to cut all of your hair off?
I cut all of my hair off when it gets to the middle of my back, I really like the dramatic change. It happens about every 6 years, my hair is just about at my shoulders, I cut it all off last year. I've never donated it because of my highlights, apparently all you need is 10 inches.

Do you already have your mother’s day gift picked out?
Today I was just browsing through “Nest” looking for ideas on what to get my mom when I ended up purchasing this delicious bath bar for myself. Sorry mom.
My new luxury bath soap is intoxicating with the beautiful smell of sweet port pear. I also love its oversized shape.

Maybe I should get my mom a gift basket of all these lovely soaps from Kalastyle?!

You know you live in the middle of nowhere when you get excited that the next island over is now selling “Essie” nail polish. Not to even mention the fact that my #1 place for these kinds of purchases is the BIG KMART. I’m such a classy girl!

Last week I came across a perfume called Maine on Joanna Goddard’s blog and couldn’t help myself.
Have you ever heard of MCMC Fragrances? It’s a small perfume company based in Brooklyn New York that is dedicated to creating original, natural, modern, and aromatherapy perfumes.

Originally I was going to order their Maine perfume so that I could smell like my home state, but then I saw that they offer a sample kit for $18. The MCMC Fragrances sample kit includes 6 different perfumes: Maine, Maui, Noble, Hunter, Kept, and Garden.
My order arrived in record time on St John and I’m absolutely a big fan of MCMC Fragrances’. Don’t you wish you could scratch and sniff these photos?

MCMC is offering the perfect mothers day gift special: personalized perfume label with your mom’s name on it!

They have a great website, take a look HERE.

I have been getting clean with Dr. Bronner’s Soaps for a lifetime. I recently just tried their new Citrus Orange fragrance and love it! Dr. Bronner’s Soap has been around for over 150 years, they are certified by the USDA as Organic, as well as Fair Trade certified, they do not test on animals, 100% vegan, and has some of the yummiest ingredients that make your skin feel good. Not to mention Dr. Bronner’s packaging is mostly made of recycled products and is entertaining to read.
It is a body care product you can't help but LOVE.

Lisa Bronner has a great blog called “Going Green with a Bronner Mom”; it is full of wonderful household cleaning tips and health advice for living a “green” lifestyle.

Why not get clean with something that is good for you?

Today my mind keeps wondering and I can’t stay focused on anything long enough to complete it.
I’m thinking a little project with steps to fallow might help because it doesn’t require any creativity or freethinking.
Like a facial?
My mother recently sent me a wonderful birthday package that included an Herbal Facial Kit by Mountain Rose. This wonderful kit is presented in a carved rosewood box from India and has 5 different steps; herbal steam, cleansing grains, green clay mask, facial oil blend, and flower water toner.
My face and skin feels amazing after this facial treatment!
