Eric and I have started the hunt for a new apartment to move into this November on St Thomas when our current lease is up. There are so many apartments listed right now on Craig's List and Seaglass Properties; I'm feeling pretty good about finding the perfect place to live. I would love to have an apartment with large windows, an open layout, and an extra room for my office/guest. Eric would like to find a place with a pool (giggle) in a safe neighborhood where the cat's can run around. So, we're putting the word out there and if anybody knows of a 2 bedroom apartment coming up for rent please let us know. We found our apartment on St John by word of mouth. How did you find your apartment?

  Hello Monday! How was your weekend? Eric and I had a great weekend and mostly stayed on the North Side of St Thomas. We made it to Platform Beach on Saturday with friends, stopped by Brooks Bar on the way home for some of the best spanish food on island, relaxed on Sunday, and finished the weekend with a yummy dinner at Mount Top with Eric's dad, who introduced us to a new game! The weather looks overcast this morning, like it might rain, which is just perfect for getting some work done on the computer and not wanting to be at the beach. Hope everyone has a productive Monday!

The Cup & Cork is a gourmet coffee shop that sells, yummy morning treats, over-stuffed deli sandwiches, a great selection of wine, and more. They're located at Megan's Point Resort which is just perfect for a fun day at the beach. The next time I'm planning to spend the day at Megan's Beach guess where I'm getting my picnic lunch from?

Happy weekend friends - what do you have planned for this fine May weekend? I'm not sure what's happening on St Thomas for fun this weekend or what Eric and I will end up doing. I have a couple of weddings to photograph but nothing booked for Sunday!

This week I added a Hula Girl to my car, don't you just love her? She makes it feel like I'm on a road trip even when I'm just going to check the mail in Tutu. It's all about the little things ;)

 Last week a friend asked me to help her with a photo assignment using a reflector and a model. I was able to make a few photographs too!!! It was a beautiful evening at Sapphire's point on St Thomas.

How was your week friends - are you ready for the weekend? I had great week and I'm excited to have a day off this weekend. I would love to be checking into the Ritz Carlton on St Thomas this weekend, wouldn't it be dreamy to float in their swimming pool Saturday afternoon? I photographed a wedding reception here last week and I've been dreaming about spending an afternoon relaxing on the Ritz Carlton's property since.
