Dinner and A Movie!

I'm excited to be living on an island (again) that has a movie theater and that they finally have something I would like to see at it. David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - have you seen it? I saw the Swedish version and really enjoyed it.

Keep your fingers crossed that the theater doesn't loose power and that there aren't too many people talking on their cellphones tonight. The St Thomas movie experience is like no other.

Dinner and A Movie!

Do you have any fun weekend plans?

I just made a reservation for this Saturday night at La Plancha del Mar on St John to watch “Coming to America.” One of the things that we don’t have on St John is a movie theater and I miss seeing movies on a big screen. Eric and I are movie junkies; we watch at least 5 movies a week. So, we where really excited to hear that La Plancha del Mar offers a dinner and movie on Saturday nights.

I’m also hoping to get to the beach if the hurricane that’s out there doesn’t hit us. St John is in its ‘off season’ now and the beaches are empty. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Movie Recommendation.

The Triplets of Belleville is one of my favorite movies.
It is truly an original animated film like no other, that tells a fabulous story about a grandmother and a faithful dog tracking her grandson, a cyclist that was been kidnapped by mysterious henchmen. The music is simply wonderful and descriptive, in fact, I don't remember even one line of dialogue in the movie. If you like the trailer above you will love The Triplets of Belleville too!
