A few months back Eric and I wanted to get off of St. Thomas for a weekend break and decided to go relax on Virgin Gorda. Virgin Gorda is the third largest island of the British Virgin Islands and one of my favorite places in the world to visit. Virgin Gorda, also know as, "The Fat Virgin" named by Cristopher Columbus because the silhouette of the island is shaped like a woman lying on her back.
The main attraction to the island is The Baths, which is made up of giant granite boulders.

The boulders really are amazing, breath taking, so we spent the weekend nestled within them. Rented a small one bedroom cottage at Guavaberry Spring Bay Vacation Homes, that was built right into the boulders and a short walk to the beach. The folks at Guavaberry where amazing, they arranged for a rental car as we checked in, it arrived within 15 minutes, the room was clean, air conditioned, had a kitchen that was fully equipped, and our own boulder that we could climb up onto watch the sunset.
To say the least, we had a blast, it was an amazing weekend and can't wait to get back there.
