We went to the BVI this weekend on John's boat (St Thomas Boat Rental) and had a blast. We checked into the BVI on Tortola and picked up lunch, stopped at Sandy Spit for a swim and a romantic walk on the beach, then hopped over to Jost Van Dyke for a drink at the Soggy Dollar, and finished up with a snorkel on our way back to St Thomas. It was a wonderful day!!!

PS Here are some lovely photos from a weekend of boating on St Thomas.

Who want's to skip work today and go on a boat trip to the BVI? Last week I was helping a friend with photos for his website when he told me he's offering this amazing summer special of $99 per person to Jost Van Dyke, that's an amazing deal!!! Wish I had the day off cause I know where I would be today :)

It was a good thing I wasn't standing where this gigantic coconut fell five feet from me!!!

Well, for not making any plans this weekend it turned out to be a lot of fun! We went to the BVI on Jon's new boat to make some photographs of it for his website and ran into a group of friends on Jost Van Dyke. On Sunday we made it out to the other side of St Thomas to the Agricultural Fair in Bordeaux - it seems to grow each year!!!
Hope everyone has a great week!

Do you ever wish you could switch jobs with your significant other just for a day?

My significant other works on a boat and I know for a fact I would do a terrible job but it would be a lot of fun to go to work with him. Every week he takes guests to Virgin Gorda to explore The Baths. The Baths are giant boulders scattered along the shore and are an amazing natural creation to explore by walking through or snorkeling around. I highly recommend that you include it in your next adventure to the Virgin Islands. You can even rent a small guesthouse within the boulders that is wonderful, take a look HERE.

The weather in the states today is yet another reason why I love where I live. It is a beautiful 82 degrees and mostly sunny on St. John in the Caribbean.

Has anyone ever stayed at Saba Rock in the British Virgin Islands? It is located in the North Sound of Virgin Gorda and is just under one acre in size at low tide. It is small and sweet, yet has everything you need to relax on vacation. Maybe you should book a trip, seems like a good time to travel somewhere warm? Take a look at their site, it will warm you up. Even I wish I was here today.

Well, Thanksgiving is this week and I am reminiscing about what I was doing last year at this time. Last year we rented a catamaran, Sarah Sue, and spent the week of Thanksgiving sailing around the British Virgin Islands. We started our trip out of St. Thomas and spent the first night on the boat at Jost Van Dyke, and then sailed to Nanny Cay, Anegada, Virgin Gorda, Saba Rock, Norman Island, Sandy Cay and a couple other little places too.

 This is Sarah Sue!

 No Worries + I'm on a boat!!

The North Sound of Virgin Gorda, and that is Saba Rock.

 The crew!!!

My Captain, charting!

 The RMS Rhone ship wreck.

This year we are having Thanksgiving at our place on St. John:)
