Dominica is  known as the Nature Island of the Caribbean and is the destination for nature lovers, people that love to hike, scuba dive, and that are looking for an amazing relaxing Caribbean island vacation. Dominica doesn't have an international airport which makes it relatively quiet for tourist activity. Here are a few quick tips to help plan a vacation on Dominica:

A quiet apartment rental that makes you feel like a local at The Trafalgar Cottage.

Renting a room or the whole house at Villa Passiflora is a wonderful place to stay.

Middleham Falls Hike - one of the largest waterfalls on Dominica.

Extreme Dominica - a canyoning adventure you will talk about for the rest of your life.

Papillote's tropical oasis that has gardeners all over the world in a state of awe!

The Boiling Lake Hike.

One of the oldest churches in the Caribbean next to the sea HERE.

A short list of Dominican literature HERE.

Hot Spring Spa's - Rainforest Shangri-La and Screw Spa.

I highly recommend picking up a Bradt Dominica guide by Paul Crask.
